Prima Sunrise Powers Sri Lanka Junior Open Golf Championship 2024 and Regional Junior Opens 2025 for the 16th Consecutive Year
Colombo, Sri Lanka, 04 December 2024: Prima, Sri Lanka’s leading nutrition company, continues its support for the development of junior golf, sponsoring the Sri Lanka Junior Open, the most prestigious Golf Championship, for the 16th consecutive year. Their commitment to nurturing young talent will once again shine at the Sri Lanka Junior Open Golf Championship 2024, featuring rising stars from Sri Lanka and overseas.
The championship will be held at the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) from 10 to 12 December, with practice rounds scheduled for 09 December. Tee-off is expected to begin at 8.00 AM each day.

Recognized as the benchmark for the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR) in junior golf, the Sri Lanka Junior Open crowns the national junior champion in both the boys’ and girls’ categories, bringing gender recognition.

Prima’s steadfast support has significantly shaped Sri Lanka’s junior golf landscape, empowering rising stars such as Jevahn Sathasivam, Reshan Algama, Kaya Daluwatta, Adithya Weerasinghe, Sithara Lorance, Anumi Karunathilaka, and Jacob Norton in the senior groups and Lavindu Premarathne, Revaan Amarasingha, Thejas Rathis Kanth, and Senal Nimsith in the junior category to shine on the course.

Open | Gold Division – Boys and girls, aged 15 to 18 years
Silver Division – Boys and girls, aged 13 to 14 years
Bronze Division – Boys and girls, aged 11 to 12 years
