SLT-MOBITEL triumphs with Gold Award in the Telecommunications Sector at TAGS Awards 2024
SLT-MOBITEL is proud to announce it has secured the prestigious Gold Award in the Telecommunications and Technology sector at the prestigious TAGS Awards 2024, held on December 12, 2024, at the Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo. Organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka), SLT-MOBITEL received the award in recognition for excelling in both financial and non-financial reporting.
The TAGS Awards aim to promote transparency, accountability, governance, and sustainability among organizations. This year’s awards theme ‘The Digital Edge – Enriching Corporate Reporting Excellence,’ celebrated organizations that showcased the transformative potential of AI and digital innovation in corporate reporting.
SLT-MOBITEL’s achievement demonstrates commitment to high standards in corporate governance and dedication to innovation within the telecommunications industry. The company’s Annual Report showcased achievements and strategic initiatives that align with its mission to enhance connectivity and digital transformation in Sri Lanka.
The award ceremony was attended by prominent figures from various sectors, highlighting the significance of receiving this recognition within the industry.
