David Pieris Automobiles opens new BAIC Showroom in Kandy

David Pieris Automobiles (Private) Limited (DPA), the four-wheeler automotive arm of the David Pieris Group, has expanded its BAIC showroom network with the opening of its newest showroom in Kandy.

Located at No. 262A, Katugastota Road, Kandy, the new showroom brings BAIC’s range of modern vehicles closer to customers in Kandy and the surrounding areas, further strengthening the brand’s presence in Sri Lanka.

The opening marks another significant step in DPA’s efforts to expand access to BAIC vehicles across the country, supported by the growing demand for modern, feature-rich and technologically advanced mobility solutions.

The new Kandy showroom joins BAIC’s existing flagship showroom on Pannipitiya Road, Battaramulla, together with its showrooms in Hyde Park Corner Colombo 02, Kurunegala, Matara, Ratnapura, Jaffna and Ampara. The expanding network enables customers in key regions to conveniently explore BAIC’s vehicle range and receive professional sales assistance.

A growing range of BAIC vehicles

David Pieris Automobiles currently markets three BAIC models in Sri Lanka, catering to a range of customer requirements and preferences.

The portfolio includes the BAIC X55, a contemporary SUV offering a combination of design, performance, technology and practicality; the BAIC BJ30, a distinctive SUV designed for customers seeking versatility and a bold driving experience; and the BAIC X3e, a fully electric vehicle that reflects BAIC’s commitment to the future of sustainable mobility.

The availability of these models through the expanding showroom network provides customers with greater opportunities to experience BAIC’s latest automotive technologies and select a vehicle suited to their lifestyle.

Strengthening after-sales support

Complementing its expanding showroom presence, DPA continues to strengthen BAIC’s after-sales service network to provide customers with reliable support throughout their vehicle ownership journey.

BAIC after-sales services are available through the dedicated BAIC Service Centre at Hyde Park Corner, supported by an islandwide dealer network. This growing service infrastructure is designed to provide customers with convenient access to maintenance and after-sales assistance across the country.

The expansion of the BAIC showroom and service network reflects DPA’s commitment to delivering a comprehensive ownership experience, backed by the expertise and nationwide presence of the David Pieris Group.

With the opening of the Kandy showroom, customers in the Central Province can now experience BAIC vehicles and access dedicated sales support closer to home, further strengthening the brand’s growing footprint in Sri Lanka.
