Nations Trust Bank’s Islandwide Beaches, Wetlands, and Lakes Clean-Up Initiative

Reaffirming its commitment to a cleaner, greener Sri Lanka, Nations Trust Bank successfully carried out an islandwide environmental clean-up initiative that spanned 07 beaches (Negombo, Wellawatta, Mount Lavinia, Jaffna, Batticoloa, and Weligama), 01 wetland (Subhuthipura Rd.), and 02 lakes (Kandy Lake, Uyanwatta Lake).

This nationwide campaign mobilized the Nations team, united by a shared purpose to protect and restore Sri Lanka’s natural ecosystems. From coastal regions to inland waterways, the initiative underscored how better outcomes are possible when people come together with shared intent and responsibility.
