NangaTheeda Ninety-Three Da Fundraiser: Colombo Hindu College Batch ’93 Unites to Support Disaster-Affected Families in Sri Lanka
As Sri Lanka continues to battle the severe impacts of the recent natural disaster, a group of alumni from Colombo Hindu College Batch ’93 has come together under the banner NangaTheeda_NinetyThreeDa_Fundraiser to support families facing desperate circumstances.
Many communities across the country are struggling to meet even the most basic needs—food, clean water, essential medication, and day-to-day items critical for survival. In response to this urgent humanitarian crisis, the Batch ’93 group is launching a coordinated relief effort to deliver direct assistance to the most vulnerable.
The organizing team emphasizes that every contribution will be handled with complete transparency, with clear tracking of funds and documentation of how and where aid is distributed. Their aim is to ensure that each donation reaches those who need it most—swiftly, honestly, and effectively.
“We are stepping forward because our people need us,” the group shared. “This is a time for unity, compassion, and action.”
The organizers invite anyone willing to contribute to join this meaningful effort. All contributions should be made on or before December 7, 2025, to allow timely delivery of essential supplies to affected families.
